Because you never know when you’ll need to cut someone
Sep 26th, 2008 by Cory
This post has been a long time coming. We had to stop for fuel soon after we crossed the state line into Texas when we moved back down this summer. While driving 1,200 miles from Maryland, we saw some interesting things, especially in the truck stops. But, leave it to good ‘ole Texas to create a mosaic of fear, tastelessness and amusement in a single gas station display case.

Just think of all the times you’ve been gassing up your car, minding your own business when you were suddenly struck with a sudden urge to cut something. Or someone. If you happen to be at a convenience store in east Texas, you won’t have to wait long. You’ll also have 15 unique choices of cutting instruments. All that cutting making you hungry? The pork rind aisle is only steps away.
I’ll admit I was a bit shocked when I first saw this, as seen by the shaky photography. Then I remembered that this was the state that launched George W. Bush’s political career.

man, i wish someone would’ve ‘cut’ his political career short, right after the governor of texas stint…
